Swat is a beautiful district of Province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is also called as Switzerland of Pakistan due to its beautiful landscapes, ski resort Malam Jabba, amazing lakes like Mahodand Lake and Kandol Lakes, stunning parks and waterfalls like Jaroga waterfall located in Tehsil matta of Swat district.
The most amazing valley in Swat is Kalam Valley with Jeep track to Ushu Valley, Ushu Glacier and Mahodand Lake. Another road from Kalam goes to Gabral, Utror Valley and Charbagh.
Mingora city is the center of Swat while Saidu Sharif is administrative center. Swat district is located in Malakand division and it has 7 Tehsils like Bahrain, Babuzai Tehsil, Tehsil Matta, Khwaza Khela, Barikot, Kabal Tehsil and Charbagh. Swat river flows alongside of this valley with beautiful sights for tourists.
This valley was major center for Budhism in the reign of Gandhara Civilization. Due to which multiple Stupas can be located in the district of Swat. Madyan and Bahrain are 2 most beautiful Hill stations in Swat Valley.
